Invisalign®

Invisalign® uses 3-D imaging and manufacturing technology to create a custom-made series of aligners for you and only you. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact movements Dr. Ding plans out for you. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You’ll achieve a great smile with little interference in your daily life. During the whole treatment, most people won't even know you're straightening your teeth.

Why Invisalign®

Invisalign® aligners are removable, so you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment. Also, brushing and flossing are no problem. No metal wire is used during the treatment,  so you won't suffer mouth abrasions and you spend less time in doctor's office getting adjustments. Sure, there are other options for straightening your teeth, but maybe Invisalign® is your best option based on your specific oral conditions. 

How does Invisalign® work

You wear each set of aligners for about 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. Your teeth will move gradually until they have straightened to the final position orthdontist Dr. Ding has prescribed. You'll visit Dr. Ding about once every 6 weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned. Total treatment time averages 9-15 months and the average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but both will vary from case to case.

Digital Impression with iTero Scanner

Dr. Ding's office uses one of the best dental digital impression scanners, iTero Element. You no longer need to bite on impression material. We use the scanner to capture 3D pictures of both arches in minutes, without even touch your teeth!
